Do I need a reservation?

Reservations are recommended, especially for January, guided trips, overnight trips, groups, and busy weekends.

Are river conditions important?

Yes. Weather and river levels can affect route options, timing, and availability.

Should waivers be completed before arrival?

Yes. Complete release forms before check-in to save time at the Outpost.

Are dogs allowed on the trips?

Yes. Dogs are allowed on the river and in our canoes. We want you to know before your trip, that there are gators in the Suwannee River. However, we take our little dog, and many others, on the river all the time and have not spotted any gators in recent years. This information was posted on August 26th, 2026 and will stay current for the safety of you and your four-legged friend. Please let us know in your travel booking if you plan to bring your dog so we can accommodate accordingly.
