Day Trips

Suwannee River Day Trips - From One Hour to Full Day Excursion Options Available

Choose a short paddle from Suwannee Springs or spend more of the day on the river with longer canoe, kayak, and SUP route options.

Suwannee Springs

The landmark for all our day trips.

Suwannee Springs is the launch point for our shortest adventure, but every Outpost day trip beginning upriver passes the remnants of this once-thriving health resort, renowned for its sulphur-rich “healing waters.”

A note about float times

We use two miles per hour as a rough estimate of an easy paddling pace. There is no time limit and no need to rush—just plan to be home by dinner or dark.

Our estimates do not include time spent stopping, fishing, swimming, or picnicking, although we highly encourage all of it. Actual float times vary with river level, wind, and your paddling pace.
